It’s hard to stay ahead of the advertising game. Historically, successful advertising has gone hand in hand with new technological advances. In 2017, what’s new and exciting? After a brief history of Ad Campaigns, we’ll go over our top services.
A brief history of Advertising Campaigns
The first “advertising agency” was established in Pennsylvania in in the mid-1800s. Its founder, Volney B. Palmer, however, didn’t aid clients with what you might think of first when you think of advertising services: there was no writing copy, no drafting creative illustrations or working with clients to create the perfect advertising campaign. Instead, Palmer simply bought and resold newspaper ad space. His agency was eventually bought out by N.W. Ayer and Son. This agency claimed to be the oldest Ad agency in America, and was responsible for many timeless slogans, including campaigns for Morton Salt and AT&T.
As technology advanced, so did methods of reaching customers. The first TV Ad aired in 1941. It was fresh, exciting and new; viewers were rapt. Nowadays, consumers are bombarded by a sea of advertisements wherever they go; from city billboards to smartphone ads, a campaign is never far. When considering options for convention advertising in top cities like San Diego, Los Angeles, Miami or Austin, most opt for OOH (Out-of-Home) Advertising opportunities. These options allow your brand and message to be displayed outside of the convention center, usually on busy city streets. A form of OOH Advertising we’re all used to is a standard billboard advertising.
In looking at tactics like billboards, other traditional forms of OOH advertising, and even newer tactics like social media advertising, we tend to feel as if we’ve seen and done it all. Can we really continue to successfully get consumers’ attention while spending thousands of dollars on traditional advertising tactics; tactics many consumers have also seen year after year?
It’s time to bring something new to your next advertising campaign; something your target audience may not have seen before. Check out our most popular services for standing out at a Trade Show.
Hands down our most popular service, utilizing a Pedicab campaign as a form of Out-of-home Advertising will give you an unparalleled leg up when advertising at a convention. The main advantage of this type of advertising is the unique harmony of mobility and visibility, which isn’t readily available with standard forms of OOH Advertising: it’s called Mobile Branding for a reason! Billboards are static, and any wrap installed on a car or bus has the potential to pass by too quickly for potential customers to get a good look. Pedicabs move at a leisurely pace and have a distinct look, meaning more brand recognition.
Just like Pedicab Advertising, Electric Shuttles are eco-friendly, can be custom-wrapped with your brand logo and message, and each one is operated by a friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic brand ambassador. We get excited about your brand as if it were our own; if you provide us with jackets or T-Shirts customized with your logo, we’re more than happy to wear them. Want us to hand out samples? We’d love to! We’ll assist with anything that allows you to better connect with members of your target audience.
In addition to the unique mix of advertising tactics, Pedicabs (also known as cycle rickshaws) and electric shuttles are usually used to transport convention attendees for short distances around popular areas. We offer prepaid ride options, so you can sponsor rides for convention attendees during certain hours. The free lifts will be appreciated, and we’ll make sure everyone knows it’s your treat.
Do you just wish someone could have your convention booth ready when you show up? No setup. No time spent dealing with the jigsaw puzzle of setting your booth up. No worries. We can build you a custom booth based on your needs and aesthetic preferences. We’ll work with you to design and install your custom booth, on-time and hassle-free. Worried about hiccups? We’ll coordinate with convention center personnel to avoid any glitches.
